What to Expect

Travel in an air conditioned coach from San Diego to Ensenada, where you will embark on the Solmar V for the 18 hour trip to the Guadalupe Islands.The Solmar V is a 112' liveaboard that combines adventure and luxury, offering "limited load" trips which provide a quality experience by maximizing cage time and onboard comfort. All shark dives are experienced from the safety of two 4-man strong metal cages, so participants are well protected. The air is supplied using a hookah system instead of scuba tanks, making this adventure open to both divers and non-divers alike.  The sharks are very curious animals and with visibility often more than 100", this is an excellent opportunity to observe them.  Expect water temperature averages between 65F-70F.
