What to Expect

Visit the Western Highlands for the Goroka Sing Sing Festival, followed by an 8 night Grand Komodo Charter aboard the Arenui. 

The Goroka Sing-Sing Festival is one of Werner’s all time favorite travel destinations.  The Sing-Sing is a way for tribes to come together and compete. Each group is distinct in what they sing, how they dance and what they wear. It is a mixture of song, dance and color.

After the Sing-Sing, you will depart Papau New Guinea for Bali, where you will travel on to Labuanbajo to embark on the Arenui for a 8 night charter of the Grand Komodo Islands. The Arenui dive liveaboard is a traditional and magnificent Phinsi, a classic Indonesian wooden sailing vessel.  The underlying concept of the Arenui is to provide you with the convenience of a fully equipped dive liveaboard together with all the richness, artistic touches, and comforts of a top-notch luxury boutique hotel. An unforgettable highlight of the charter is at Komodo National Park, where you will see the giant monitor lizard, better known as the “Komodo Dragon”, roaming free.
