If you desire to dive year round, but the colder water of southern California keeps you from enjoying it, then the PADI Drysuit Specialty is for you. By excluding water almost completely, drysuits are usually less bulky and allow the diver to move more freely. Staying warmer and using less energy to move about means that drysuit divers tend to use less air, and make more dives per day. Add to that the ultimate goal of keeping warm while you enjoy the dives.
